About

I am a vegetarian with aspirations to being a vegan. But the pull of parmigiano is deep, ancient and powerful. It’s like the ring of Mordor, man.

I am not a trained chef–wish I was–but I love (no really, LOVE) cooking and feeding people. It’s an adventure, a cultural experience, a creative endeavor, a way to feed my family and make people happy. The kitchen is the land of (literally) milk and honey.

Everything here is what we are eating in my house. I am a home cook without graces or finesse, but a strong interest and curiosity to learn. My ambition, my goal is for vegetarian food to not be boring. I hope that this blog is a means to that end.

Peace.

  7. Sounds wonderful! What a lucky family you have haha! I also love to experiment with different cuisines. There are so many incredible ingredients to discover out there that it’s almost a shame to just stick to one style of cooking.Avocado, sriracha, chipotle and daal? Sounds like a dream! (Except I’m also crazy about sweets as you can tell from my site hehehe)
